Lewis and Clark’s Corps of Discovery had many members, now surrounded by legend and mystery, who were often reflective of the social conditions of the time. One of these characters was a man known only as “York”, an African American slave of William Clark’s who served as a full member of the expedition.
This event will take place at the Kiwanis Pavilion.
