Built in 1935, the Granary served as the milling department for Billings Polytechnic Institute until World War II. The building was not used again until the Granary Restaurant opened in 1976. In the spring of 2004 this Billings landmark changed hands and underwent a major transformation. The Granary was reopened in October 2004.
For over 25 years, the Granary has taken pride in serving the finest naturally aged hand cut beef, prime rib, fresh seafood, and chicken. There is a full service bar and Montana's finest outdoor patio deck. Also two private banquet rooms are available for dinner parties seating up to 50 people.
We are proud to serve USDA Prime Grade Beef. Our steaks are prepared to your taste at over 1,700 degrees on a high temperature broiler.
The Granary rests in a natural setting of lawns, trees and the Rimrocks. For reservations or inquiries please call 259-3488.
