Pumpkin Creek Ranch Recreation Area consists of 21,206 acres. Area wildlife include mule deer, antelope, whitetail deer, prairie dog, beaver, bobcat, coyote and some upland bird and waterfowl species. Pumpkin Creek runs through the recreation site. Vegetation is predominately sagebrush and grasses. The area is a classic Eastern Montana landscape which creates a feeling of vastness and open space.
There are no facilities at this site. This is a "Pack In, Pack Out" area and all garbage must be removed. Nor fireworks are allowed. Be mindful of seasonal and fire restrictions.
