Next to Custer's Little Bighorn Battlefield in southeast Montana- we're top rated 9, 10*, & 10 by Good Sam with excellent reviews and a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence for 2014 and 2016 - notable destination! Just received a Yelp shout-out award! Our terraced sites are extra long pull-thru's for the biggest rigs or the little campers! We offer 45 full-service (sewer, water, electric) sites and 18 more sites with water & electricity only. Electric hook-ups are 20, 30, & 50 amps. There are 20 tenting sites, 4 cowboy camping cabins, and even an authentic Crow-style tepee! We have special weekly rates and many discounts. High speed broadband Wi-Fi is free throughout the park, and there is local TV and excellent satellite service. Pets are welcome. The sites have well graveled parking pads, lawns, grills, and tables. We give each guest a hearty welcome and escort to their site. Our shower/laundry/bathroom services have great soft artesian water. We have a super "10" Good Sam rating for our cleanliness and facilities- and we're handicapped accessible. The 7TH ranch affords an expansive view of the Big Horn Mountains, Little Big Horn River Valley and Battlefield area. Most of our guest comments read like this one: "The View! The Sunsets! The Quiet! The great big clean shower house!" We're exactly halfway between Sheridan, WY and Billings, MT- two great western Mecca's on Interstate 90 and just off the western end of Hwy 212- the Warrior Trail- route to the Dakotas. Our pavilion within view of the Little Bighorn Battlefield is just right for night-time talks, parties, and reunions. The play area is ranch and native oriented; no plastic playgrounds! We have a sand pit, logs and stumps to climb and play on and lots of hills to climb and roam. There is plenty of room for a casual game of volleyball or horseshoes in camp. Pet owners like the perimeter walking area. From our flag and cross atop the hill, geo-travelers can trace the Reno Creek and route of the soldiers on that fateful day in 1876. The 7TH Ranch has done private, custom historical tours of the area Battlefields and trails for many years-hosting famous authors, researchers, military groups, History of America Tours, television & film producers & production crews and many guests from foreign countries. Over 400,000 modern explorers visit the Little Bighorn Battlefield each year. Knowledge of the history and culture of the area is our specialty. The Ranch is active in tourism, cultural, agricultural, preservation, and historical organizations. We are a working cattle ranch with eight horse stalls for equine travelers. The big arena is ready for events or work-outs with round training corrals and clean pens. Little Big Horn Days, the Real Bird Reenactment, and Crow Native Days always take place the third week of June near the anniversary date of the Battle. The Military Ball, parades, mini pow-wow, Indian marathon, quilt show, and seminars have lots of action! Crow Fair is the third week of August offering a unique look at many Indian nations. It's the world's largest outdoor tepee gathering and pow-wow with parades, rodeos, and dancing each day. A few miles away the Big Horn River is one of the top ten trout fishing streams in the nation and the Yellowstone River is one of the few remaining "wild" rivers in the nation- right on Lewis & Clark's route. Pompey's Pillar, the last vestige of the Corps of Discovery, is waiting along the banks of these mighty fishing rivers.
