What’s an NFR Calcutta you say? As a fundraiser for the Broadus Chamber of Commerce, 15 teams are “auctioned off.” National Finals Rodeo (NFR) events like saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, team roping (header and heeler) calf roping, barrel racing and bull riding will entertain the crowd and at the end, points are added up with payouts going to first- through fourth-place winners.
